Tim Smith is a partner at SmithMartin and combines his support of technology and the web for clients with his work around the development of charity governance and social enterprise development.
We are a small practice, with partners based in London and East Anglia, working across the charitable, public and community business sectors.
Partners at SmithMartin include project management, community business development, teaching, early years and web code/development specialists.
We use a collection of our skill sets tailored to your individual project. Whether we are project managing the creation of a new building, the delivery of a funded programme of work – or building you a new web and e-communication system – we have a range of solutions to help you and individuals who are passionate about delivery in your sector.
Our partnership has a number of other trading styles apart from our community web offering from Thirdsectorweb.
Dolphinbooksellers.co.uk is our retail children’s book sales and literacy news arm.
We are passionate about literacy, reading books and getting them in front of families and children. The Dolphinbooksellers site always has the latest new release in children’s books available, the top ten books on Amazon in any hour and full news feeds about the world of children’s books.
We are currently working hard to update the content, regularly, with fresh editorial and author and illustrator profiles too. In order to make The Dolphin an even more useful book source for children.
Dolphinbookbox.co.uk is the trading style of our business which which supplies resources to schools, children centres and community groups – everything form tee-shirts to full design and print expertise.
We use the synergy and resource linkages generated by Thirdsectorweb delivery to develop our practical ‘social business’ skills.
This broadens the range of goods and services we offer which adds value to projects as part of that energetic and committed ethical approach to our work.
We also support a number of charitable and community based project. Providing pro-bono web and email infrastructure to help communities develop their projects.
We offer book stalls and book sale services for literacy and author events, through our support of City Stories. A project designed to bring authors and illustrators into communities to work directly with children.
The City Stories project seeks funding to deliver book and author events to communities where children’s book access is not good. We deliver a web presence for new reading groups and support the development of reading and author activities after the project has delivered the start-up activity.
If we can help you, contact us for no cost exploratory talks at any time.
